Reviews, Give-Aways, and Advertising

I love to review products, share new things with my readers and hold giveaways! My blog reaches a wide range of readers: single, married, parents, housewives, professionals, empty-nesters, adults, and teens. I am dedicated to giving an honest review of items that of are an interest to me, my family, and/or my readers.

I am interested in many different kinds of products, but I'm especially interested in:

• Items for busy moms: cooking/baking products, tools and appliances, household items, cleaning products, school supplies, health and beauty items, anything kid related.
• Green and/or organic products and/or gadgets.
• Gardening items: plants, gardening supplies, seeds, books.
• Books: I read books on almost any subject and have done several book reviews in the past.
• Handmade items: I love to promote handmade and handcrafted goods! Jewelry, books, clothes, aprons, knickknacks, handbags, totes, etc.
• Electronics: cameras, laptops, MP3 players, kitchen gadgets, video games/gaming supplies.
• Foods, snacks, drinks.

REVIEW POLICY

If I would like to review your product*, please contact me with information about your product. I will then contact you ASAP with my address to send the product. I will not do a review without first personally trying a sample. The sample will not be returned. The company asking for a review will be responsible for any and all shipping costs.

As part of the review, I will include:

• An honest review of the product.
• Links to your website and or social networking sites.
• Photos of the product, yours or mine, per our agreement.
• Appropriate information regarding the product (sales info, background, etc.) per our discussions.
• At least one mention on each of my social networking pages (Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter)

* I strongly suggest, when possible, offering a giveaway in conjunction with a review. It increases reader interest in the product, and I encourage my readers to post about giveaways in their own blogs for extra "entries". I also require visiting the product website for entry to each giveaway, increasing traffic to your website, and possible interest in your other products.

GIVEAWAY POLICY

I love to offer my readers a chance to win something on my blog! If you are looking to promote your product, company or business, consider sponsoring a giveaway!

Giveaways:

• Generally run for a period of 7 days
• Are given their own post, and then linked to from the sidebar of the blog for the remaining days of the giveaway.
• Require readers to visit the sponsors web site for entry
• Give bonus entries for visiting the sponsor's social networking sites (including corresponding blogs, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc.).
• Are shipped by the sponsor to the winner (I will send the winner's name and address as soon as they contact me with the information).

ADVERTISING POLICY

I accept two forms of advertisements:

Buttons will be displayed in my side bar. I am not responsible for creating your ad, and reserve the right to not use any advertisements that I deem inappropriate for my blog. Payment can be made via PayPal. Rates are as follows:

• Monthly Ads (1 full calendar month, or 30 days): $15 per month
• 6 Months: $80
• A Full Year (365 days): $150

A simple text link to your website, listed under the "Sponsor" column in my side bar. Payment can be made via PayPal. Rates are as follows:

• Monthly Ads (1 full calendar month, or 30 days): $10
• 6 Months: $50
• A Full Year (365 days): $90
